How do I use it?
Press a sticker onto a clean, dry nail before you head out. When you want to check a drink, use a straw or a clean fingertip to put one drop on the heart. Never dip the sticker into your glass. Give it the time shown on the pack, then compare the heart with the colour guide.
What does it check for?
It's designed to help detect GHB. Your pack's leaflet lists exactly what your stickers react to. No sticker like this can screen for everything, and we'd rather tell you that up front.
Can it tell if extra alcohol has been added?
No. Extra alcohol is the most common way drinks get spiked, and no test like this can pick it up. Keep your drink with you and pay attention to how you feel.
What does it mean if the heart doesn't change?
Only that the sticker didn't react to the drop you tested. It doesn't prove your drink is safe. If anything about the drink or how you feel seems off, leave it.
Are there drinks it doesn't work well with?
Yes. Very creamy, very sour or very dark drinks can stain the pad or affect the result. Your pack's leaflet lists which ones. If you can't read the result clearly, don't rely on it.
What should I do if it changes colour?
Stop drinking it. Tell a friend and a member of staff, and keep the glass if you can. If you feel unwell, get medical help straight away and don't leave on your own.
Can I use a sticker more than once?
No, each heart is single use. Once it's been wet, put on a fresh one to test another drink.
Will it last the whole night?
It's made to stay on through a night out, hand washing included. Apply it to a clean nail with no oil or hand cream and press it down firmly for a few seconds.
Does it work on gel, acrylic or press-ons?
Yes, it sticks to natural nails, gel, acrylic and press-ons. On very glossy top coats, press a little longer so the edges seal.
Will taking it off ruin my nails?
No. Lift it slowly from one edge and it peels off cleanly without pulling up polish or gel.
Will people know what it is?
Most people will just see a cute heart on your nail. That's the point: it's there if you need it, and nobody else has to know.
Can I read it in a dark bar?
Try one at home first so you know what a change looks like. If you can't see it clearly when you're out, step into better light or use your phone torch.
How many are in a pack?
Choose 10, 20 or 40 single-use stickers. Most people keep a few spares in their bag for friends.
How should I store them?
Keep them sealed, dry and away from heat and direct sunlight. Damp gets to the test pad before you do.
Do they expire?
Yes. Check the date on the pack and don't use them after it. The test pads get less sensitive over time.
Is this a medical or forensic test?
No. It's a personal screening aid. It can't prove whether a drink was or wasn't spiked. If you think you've been spiked, get medical help and report it. Hospitals and police can do proper testing.
